1. What Little Knots is

Little Knots is an iOS app by Thomas A Johansen (Oslo, Norway) for recording family memories — milestones, dates, quotes, photos, and videos. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to everything these terms don't cover.

2. Your content is yours

Everything you record in Little Knots belongs to you. It is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account; we claim no rights to it, and we can't access it. See the privacy policy for details. You're responsible for what you record and share, and for only inviting people you trust.

3. Little Knots Pro

Some features (additional children, video attachments, partner and family sharing, thread styles, paper themes) require Little Knots Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, at the price shown in the app for your storefront.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Where offered, introductory prices and free trials apply once per Apple Account; any unused trial time is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Pro supports Apple Family Sharing.
• If Pro lapses, nothing you've saved is removed or locked: every memory stays visible and editable. Pro only gates starting new Pro-gated things.
• Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Not medical advice

Little Knots is a keepsake, not a pediatric tool. The milestone catalog and its typical age ranges are for sentimentality, not diagnosis — children do things in their own order, at their own pace. For questions about your child's development, talk to your doctor or health visitor.

5. Fair use of the app

Don't use Little Knots to store unlawful content, don't try to break, probe, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, and don't resell it. That's it.

6. Warranty and liability

Little Knots is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss — please keep iCloud enabled so Apple keeps your memories backed up. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
