How to play

Tenfall is a quick puzzle about making sums of ten.

  1. Numbers fall onto the board from the top.
  2. Drag across adjacent tiles to connect numbers that sum to the target (ten).
  3. Clear tiles to score points and keep the board from filling up.
  4. Trigger combos by clearing with specific patterns or shapes — each one you discover unlocks a new entry in the Combo book.
  5. Use powerups earned at clear, round, and score milestones to break out of tight spots.

Game ends when no more moves are possible. Chase your high score, level up combos (every 10 triggers bumps a combo one level, up to Lv.10), and unlock all the hidden ones.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove ads?

Open Settings → Remove Ads inside the app and complete the one-time in-app purchase ($3.99 USD or local equivalent). Once the transaction goes through, interstitial ads no longer appear. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and works on any device signed in to the same ID. Rewarded ads (the optional "watch to continue" or "watch for a free powerup" prompts) stay available — they're opt-in, so Remove Ads doesn't silence them.

How do I restore purchases?

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID with the App Store and re-applies the "Remove Ads" entitlement if you've previously purchased it. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

How do I see my combos?

Tap the Secrets tab from the main menu. Combos you've never triggered appear as Lv.0 silhouettes. The first time you trigger one, it unlocks to Lv.1. Every additional 10 triggers bumps the level by one, all the way up to Lv.10.

Why can't I see the leaderboard?

Leaderboards use Apple Game Center. If you're not signed in, go to iOS Settings → Game Center and sign in with your Apple ID. Once Game Center is active, the leaderboard becomes available inside Tenfall and your scores start syncing.

Is my progress synced across devices?

Local save data (current run, settings, unlocked combos, lifetime stats) is stored per-device and doesn't sync. Game Center scores and achievements do sync across any device signed in to the same Apple ID. If you uninstall the app, local progress is lost; Game Center progress persists.

I bought "Remove Ads" but I still see interstitials. What now?

Three quick checks:

  1. Confirm you're signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
  2. Tap Settings → Restore Purchases.
  3. Force-quit and relaunch the app.

How do I opt out of personalized ads?

Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off tracking for Tenfall (or for all apps). Ads still appear, but they'll be contextual (non-personalized) rather than based on your device's IDFA. If you prefer no interstitials at all, purchase "Remove Ads" — that silences them entirely. You can also revisit your consent choices any time via Settings → Manage Consent inside the app.

What data does Tenfall collect?

Tenfall itself stores game data locally on your device and has no server. Optional third parties (Apple Game Center, Apple StoreKit, Google AdMob) process specific data under their own policies. Full details: see the Privacy Policy.

How do I reset my progress?

Open Settings → Reset inside the app. This clears lifetime stats, unlocked combos, and high scores stored on the device. Game Center scores and achievements are handled by Apple — to reset those, see Apple's Game Center support.

How do I report a bug or crash?

Email support@thomasaj.com with:

  • Device model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro) and iOS version.
  • Tenfall version (from Settings → About).
  • Steps that triggered the problem, or what you were doing when it happened.
  • A screenshot or screen recording if you can grab one.

Does Tenfall work offline?

Yes. Gameplay, local stats, combos, and settings all work fully offline. Game Center score submission and in-app purchase restoration need a network connection. Ads (if you haven't purchased "Remove Ads") require a connection to load; if you're offline, the slot is skipped.
