100 Percent Calculator is a calculator app. It does not require an account, has no servers of its own, and does not collect personal information. All calculations — including conversations with the built-in Assistant — happen on your device, and anything you choose to save (favorites, history, chat) stays on your device. The only network requests the app ever makes are anonymous downloads of currency exchange rates for the optional currency features, described below.
The app stores a small amount of data locally so it can remember your preferences between launches:
This data is stored on your device using Apple's standard frameworks (UserDefaults, a local SwiftData database, and files in the app's private container). It is not transmitted to us and not shared with third parties.
The currency converter and Travel Mode need up-to-date exchange rates. To get them, the app makes an anonymous HTTPS request to the free Frankfurter API, which republishes the European Central Bank's daily reference rates. The request contains only the currency codes being converted — no names, no identifiers, no amounts, and nothing about you or your device beyond what any internet request technically includes (such as an IP address, which we never see and do not receive). Rates are cached on your device so the features keep working offline. If you never use the currency features, the app makes no network requests at all.
On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 and later), the app includes an Assistant that answers percent questions in plain language. It runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device foundation models: your questions and the answers are processed locally, are never sent to us, and the conversation history is stored only on your device. You can erase it at any time with the Assistant's Clear Chat button, and the app's own calculation tools do the arithmetic — the model never invents the math.
The app does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. There are no cookies, no third-party scripts, and no behavioral data collection.
100 Percent Calculator offers an optional one-time "Pro" upgrade and three optional tip jar items. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details, your Apple ID, or your billing information. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchase data: apple.com/legal/privacy.
After a successful purchase, the app records a small flag locally so it knows the upgrade is unlocked. To restore purchases on a new device, use the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings — this re-checks your Apple ID with the App Store.
Because nothing is stored off-device, you are always in full control: delete individual History entries with a swipe, erase the Assistant conversation with Clear Chat, or delete the app from your device to remove all of its locally stored data at once. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
100 Percent Calculator is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No registration, identifiers, or personal data are collected from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
